Lamb Feeding
Come along to Bertie’s Farm for a unique experience to bottle feed one of our baby lambs
Lamb Feeding will return in 2026!
Come and enjoy an unforgettable hands-on experience at our farm! We have adorable baby lambs that need bottle-feeding, and we’re giving you the chance to help.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both children and adults to get up close and personal with our lambs. During your visit, you will
Spend up to an hour on the farm meeting our baby lambs
Learn how we care for them
Give them their bottle of milk with guidance from our friendly staff
Important Information:
Each bottle is dedicated to one lamb, and we love to name them so you’ll have your very own lamb to care for!
Prices are based per bottle, with a maximum of one person per bottle
To keep the experience special, group sizes are limited.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, this is a working farm.
What happens if I’m late? The lambs all need to be fed at a regular time. As such we advise you to get to the Farm 10 minutes in advance. We will have to go ahead with the feed if you’re late and we aren’t able to offer refunds!
Health & Safety
PLEASE NOTE: All animals, especially farm animals, carry bugs which can be passed to humans, it's very important that after you have fed the calves you remember to wash your hands. There is a hand wash facility with hot running water before you re-enter the cosy barn . Find our more guidance on visiting farms by clicking here >>>
As this is a high contact animal activity, we do not recommend those with weakened immune systems take part, lamb feeding also isn’t suitable for anyone pregnant. As with all animal activities hand washing with warm water and soap is essential for all participants, both before and after handling the lambs and staff will oversee this process for everyone’s safety.
